Melissa Atwell-Holder has been granted US$7,500 bill and is likely to be released once the bail has been paid.
The attorney for Atwell-Holder said it was a matter of a visa overstay. Atwell-Holder was detained last month US law enforcement authorities.
Atwell-Holder appeared virtually before Judge Francis Mwangi. She will return to court in April and the matter has been transfer to a Brooklyn Court.
